PDN Photo Plus Expo October 23-25
PDN's Photo Plus Expo is being held next week in New York City. I'll be there and am especially excited to see Alec Soth and Steve McCurry speak. I have the same fantasy about these two men that I have about James Nachtwey.

James Nachtwey on Boston.com
Boston.com has a feature of the work James Nachtwey did on Extremely Drug Reistant Tuberculosis (XDR-TB). The raw emotion rips off the page at you. I can't link directly to the images, so you'll have to click over.
Nachtwey is one of those photographers I put on the level of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Milton Rogovin. I'd like to spend just one day with him. Here's what I picture us doing: we go out and shoot, come back to my apartment where we develop and print our film, and then hang out and talk.
I'll let you know when I get his call.
